Drug (substance) abuse has become a worldwide menace. No part of the world is free from the curse of drug addiction. Drug abuse has emerged as a serious concern, adversely affecting the physical and socioeconomic well-being of the country.
In view of the above, our organisation has come forward to prevent and control the uses of substances in Gumla district since last two years. Experienced doctors and a fully dedicated professional staff have been involved in our DDAC and we have detected nearly 870 addicted persons including youth. After proper care and treatment about 600 affected people have been stopped using substances and leading normal lives.

DDAC running in Raigarh district of Chhatisgarh

Raigarh in Chhatisgarh is a mineral and industry-based district. Thousands of labours working in different mines and industries are mainly consuming alcohol, country liquor, opium, Ganja and even brown sugars in their daily lives. The economical condition of the families has been fully destroyed. owever, our organization has established one DDAC in Jurda of Raigarh district where all required infrastructures are available. A well experienced doctor and para-medical staff are deployed in DDAC centre to prevent and control the substance uses. Last year about 630 addicted persons were identified. After proper counselling of the addicted persons and their family members 45 addicted persons completely gave up the habit and the rest were admitted in the centre in phase wise for proper treatment.
